I had a dream

More than 10 years ago, I had this idea to create an online store of handmade home décor and gifts.  I wanted to help artist get their work out into the market place, for it is often so hard to balance the time between creating and marketing.  Having been an interior designer for over 35 years, I felt I could understand their needs and hopefully become a vital partner to their success. 

Also during this time, I learned the importance of being thoughtful with my own purchasing habits.  I went through some difficult financial experiences that led me to living in a small studio for a couple of years.  Not only did I need to let go of many of my possessions, I had to stop and think before buying anything!  I was always saying to myself, "Do I really need this?  Where am I going to put it?"  I became a minimalist before ever hearing the term, now it's even an interior design style!  Ahead of my time I guess! 

So, all of this has led to today, where I am so excited to be finally working on my dream to create a wonderful community that helps artisans and people like you to find wonderful one-of-a-kind home décor and gifts.  Because, why are we spending our hard earned money for items that are mass produced, when we can have something completely unique and special?  I also believe that everything is energy, and something handmade From Love For Love carries the best energy possible!  

It will be my goal to always have a fun and exciting store where the items are changing all of the time.  There are artist that will be continually showcased, and one time finds as I travel to art shows around the world.  I'm so looking forward to taking this journey with all of you who find your way here.  For I also believe the quality of our lives is reflected by the quality of our relationships.
